In 1995, the CIIR works with CorpTech on enhancing STARJOBS (Strategic Alliance for Reinvestment and Jobs), initially developed in 1993, with full-text product/service descriptions of 36,000 U.S. high tech companies accessible over the Internet. This is used by organizations to promote corporate partnering on federal grant proposals and on business development, mostly within the state of Massachusetts.
